Day 7 - 7/7 - tale of 3 vendors

CAFE PRESS - I heard back from them and they were "deeply sorry" that I was not satisfied with my purchase. They offered me an exchange within $5 of the purchase price (was that a compromise?), just let them know. I replied no thanks, just send me a label so I could get it out of my house. I'm not pleased with the customer service response and will not be using this vendor again.


SBICCA- the company that I bought the shoes from that I wore on the show.  They contacted me today after I shared with them the clip from the TODAY show. They may use the clip for PR purposes, they will let me know. They also are sending me FREE MADE IN CALIFORNIA SHOES! This is one of the happiest days of my life! Of course pictures will follow once them come. Thanks Sbicca for sharing and for being made in America!

MANDEES - so I wrote my first letter today to Mandees, the store that I went shopping at the night before the show and where I actually found clothing made here. I thanked them, told them what I was doing and asked them to put all the american clothing together in a special section. Once they respond back, I will post my letter to them and their response. Hopefully I will hear back from them.

That was my work for today, tomorrow I will contact Marshall's. I will also, sadly, yell at Kohls for not carrying one item that I could find that was made in America. I wonder if they will revoke my card, I have been a gold member since 2001.....
