Day 18 - 7/18 - Happy Anniversary!

15 years! Wow, that's a long time. We had a nice day of doing nothing but what we wanted and that's the best part! We didn't even shop, let's avoid the temptation for one day. So we exchanged gifts and I was really nervous that he wouldn't like the sneakers. He opened them and really seemed to like them. I told him the story of New Balance and made him read the card on the shoe and told him how long it took me to find them. He truly appreciated the effort I put in to find him something he actually liked that was made in America. Mission accomplished!

What did I get? My husband is crazy and decided to buy me a pair of beautiful Jimmy Choo shoes! I always told him when I become rich and famous that would be my first purchase. I am neither rich nor famous - far from either - so I don't know what possessed him to do this. He said it was a special anniversary and he knew I wanted a pair. I don't even want to know what he paid for these, if I knew I would make him return them. Once my pictures are working I will share a photo.  After the shock of receiving these shoes wore off, I noticed they said made in Italy. I nicely inquired about it and he said he went out and purchase them in June because he knew we were doing this in July. Wow, he actually planned this ahead of time - what a guy!
