Day 2 - 7/2 - Old, new, borrowed and blue

Today was great! We were picked up at 8, whisked into the city, filmed with Kathy Lee and Hoda at the TODAY show, and came home! What an experience! Everyone was super sweet and my nerves did not get the best of me. It was probably all the novenas I said the night before :). I wore my all American outfit with my super awesome shoes. Last night the dress I was supposed to wear came in the mail and was the wrong size!! I rushed out to Mandees and Marshalls and purchased everything that said "Made in the USA". Two hundred dollars later..... It was so time consuming going through every label (I'm going to work on that this month). I came home and was up till 11 deciding on what to wear. I decided on a blue shirt from UK2LA - blue (Mandees to the rescue!!), white pants from my moms closet from Morrisey - borrowed (at least 10 years old), my dads Miraculous Medal - old and my trusty shoes from Sbicca - new. I also had on my Alex and Ani bracelets that are Made in America with Love. See below!

 

The short TODAY show clip will air on July 4th between 10 and 11, (Channel 4 in NY) what better day to watch it! I hope the word gets out and people jump on board and try this out themselves. Tomorrow starts the real work. Can I make a difference?
