We went to the movies and only bought popcorn. I was too tired to worry about what was made where. I did sneak in my own SnoCaps - made here - and Junior Mints! I realized the new bag I brought to the movies that I just received as a gift was made in China and now have to ditch it for the month. It is so cute!!! Argh!! After we went to Panera for lunch and all was well and local.
After lunch my husband stopped at the local soccer shop to buy new cleats. Totally forgetting our pact, he almost bought them until I checked and they were made in Vietnam. He "put them on hold" Hello, till August 1st??? I have to make sure he doesn't sneak them in the house. I am not doing this alone.
The worst part of the day was receiving an email from Disney about the semi annual sale. OMG!! This is the one I do damage with. I checked a few items and they all say imported but no specific country of origin. Damn you Disney!!
On a happy note. Tomorrow is the 4th and we are looking forward to celebrating our country's birthday. I bought another American flag two weeks ago at Michaels and it says "proudly made in the USA". It will be proudly flying tomorrow on my porch and for the rest of the summer.
Tomorrows report will let you know where all our American Flag clothes are from. I bought a new bag at Target and it is so cute, I can't wait to use it. Happy 4th!!
