Day 20/21- All American Toys

So the weekend was nice and we stayed home most of it to recoup from our AC trip. I have a birthday party on Saturday and I would like to get this little peanut something meaningful, instead of just a gift card. He's so cute, he deserves something good and made in America.  So I settled down and figured I was in for a marathon search.

I first came across this site: http://toysmadeinamerica.com/ it is an index of tons of different sites dedicated to USA only sites that sell toys. Dolls, trains, you name it they sell it. Wow, I was surprised! I chose one of the first ones listed www.all-americantoys.com.

How cute is this??? From their webpage....

These  are all 100% USA Made Toys, therefore they are the best, and they reflect the sense of pride in American craftsmanship. With all the big department stores pushing products made in China, etc. it is getting harder and harder to find items of this quality and safety and to find USA Made Toys.... Help support our American workers, and keep your children safe by buying USA Made Toys instead of foreign made toys.

SOLD!! Now will it come by Saturday?? That's the question...we are still delivering on Saturdays correct?

So I thought a cute Made in America T shirt would be nice to go along with the toy. His mom is a good friend and is helping me out with ideas and brands that sell here so I know she would appreciate it. There are a ton of Made in America Shirts with the saying but it is becoming hard to find a shirt that says it and is actually made here!

How funny?

but the description says Imported, HA! What's the point?

This is going to take awhile, I may have to get back to you on this tomorrow...maybe a book would be easier.... Enjoy the week!
